Stanford Made Marian About My Studion

Hello and welcome to my website.

I love pop-ins – to my studio in the beautiful sleepy Cape Victorian village of Stanford alongside the Klein River. And visits to my ABOUT page, really give me a thrill! It boggles my (almost 60-year-old) brain that I have visitors to the electronic “me” from all over the world.

So what am I about? Lucky, that’s what I am – to be able to focus on my passion for painting in watercolour (with sleepy beagles snoring under my work top), to showcase South Africa’s beautiful birdlife, wildlife and fynbos … close-up.

I sell my original paintings in a colourful gallery in Hermanus called LEMBU (mostly) and turn the images I paint into greetings cards – on quality (textured) art card stock, 125x125mm square.

Some of my paintings I get made into limited edition prints on beautiful archival paper.

If you click through my site, it’ll all make sense. And it’s very easy to shop if you like my work.
