Gaansbaai Heath
From May each year, the hills of the Grootbos Reserve start to change colour, becoming a carpet of pink by August and September as the Erica irregularis flowers. This endemic fynbos grows only between Stanford and Gansbaai, with some 80% of its global population on Grootbos.
